Neeru joined Richards & Evans Commercial Lawyers in March 2024, having previously lived, worked and studied abroad in Nepal and the USA, as an expert in human and women’s rights.
Prior to moving to Australia in 2013, Neeru was a human rights lawyer in Nepal and worked for not-for-profit organisations and the United Nations.
Her previous work involved policy advocacy and strategic lobbying, focussing on marginalised communities, and providing expert advice to Members of Parliament and various human rights and civil society organisations in Nepal.
Neeru brings a wealth of life experience to her role at Richards & Evans Commercial Lawyers, where she assists Lucy Richards in Estate Planning matters. Clients appreciate Neeru’s calm and empathetic approach to their matters.
